Specialty Components for OEMs and Automation

Branson nurtures OEM partnerships, working with customers to retrofit existing equipment and designs, and/or implement new technology. Branson's ultrasonic equipment is easily adapted to automated systems.

Branson's unique line of OEM components includes such offerings as rack mountable power supplies, and our new Panel Mount Power Supply. Branson has also developed custom ultrasonic converters which can be cleaned in place for food processing. Branson's OEM partners serve the packaging, food processing, medical, and business/consumer electronics industries.

Panel Mount Power Supplies
Based on Branson's newest power supply platform, this power supply module can be directly mounted into an electrical enclosure. It is available in 20, 30, and 40 kHz frequencies and power ranges from 800 to 3300 watts. Models are available in b (continuous mode), t (time controls), and e (energy controls).

The front panel includes terminal blocks for 220V AC power and user I/O, an advanced function connector, power meter, tuning and reset tactile switches and LED lights for +24V, line power and faults. Also included is a mechanical amplitude control adjustable from 50 to 100% (or amplitude can be controlled electronically from 10 to 100% via a user-supplied PLC controller).

Note: these four panel mount supplies require less space than two standard power supplies.

Washdown Converter
This special 20 kHz converter has a stainless steel body, nickel plated aluminum output driver, sealed in/out quick disconnect air fittings and a permanently secured 4' RF cable (cable can be manufactured at other lengths). The SST converter is designed for applications in which a servo drive rotates the converter around and back, where typical connections of standard converters would be at risk.

Aseptic Converters
This aseptic converter utilizes a stainless steel housing with a titanium output driver to allow washdown with light-duty chemicals. Sealed quick-disconnect in/out air fittings and SHV RF connector complete the aseptic capabilities of this converter.
